The 39 Steps has completed its run at the Criterion Theatre
Running from April 2nd to April 6th
The comedy murder mystery “The 39 Steps” directed by Sam Powell who masterminded The Messiah 2 years ago. Once again a small cast of 4 takes on multiple roles in a re-telling, this time of a classic film. Expect red herrings, villains and heroes in a cleverly chaotic take on the murder genre.
Opening Night for “The 39 Steps” will be a fundraiser for Grafton Scout Group who will be taking a Cub Scouts troupe to Uluru for the Easter Jamboree. Be prepared for a giant raffle for this worthy cause.
As is usual at the Criterion, all tickets are for table seating, and all shows are BYO drinks and nibbles. Doors open 1 hour prior to curtain to enable patrons to enjoy their refreshments or buy tea/coffee/drinks/icecreams from the canteen.
